As a man, it's when you've just gone over the edge and you begin to ejaculate, but you stop stimulating your penis as you cum. This results a less satisfying orgasm (if any) and a soft cock, but you still feel aroused and even a little frustrated.

For me it's the epitemy of a ruined orgasm is when edging goes wrong. I enjoy a bit of edging but I hate when someone trys to bring me to the edge of cumming but actually just tips it over the edge accidentally and then stops. Simply they have gone too far by the tiniest margin. Putting me in a state of orgasm limbo. I don't quite cum or have an orgasm but my body goes into post orgasm mode. It's very frustrating when someone does that and not something I consider a good thing.
