Whilst there are plenty of good reasons ofabuse and logistics, I do have a habit of also just blocking people with cringy profile pics, and really ugly people i just can't face seeing. I'm sure there are some pretty tenuous reasons people find themselves clicking that button... |

No me blocking someone but me being blocked I was meant to meet someone on a friday morning at 10:30. I woke up at 3 in the morning feeling sick and was in s bit of s state started being sick and more.
So I messaged the person saying I'm really not well I'm sorry can we do it another time?
2 mine later I had a message saying what ever time waster dint be a fake. I went to reply and was blocked  |

I always check in threads about blocking if I’m blocked by people.
1 in this thread.
A forum block only serves one purpose cos you can still see what the blocked person writes so it’s pretty pointless on that front, it just gives the opportunity for the blocker to give a silent ‘fuck you’ to the blockee  |

For blatantly not having read my profile. For sending an explicit first message. For sending a dick pic. For persisting despite having been told no thanks. For being abusive when told politely I'm not interested.
Occasionally I have blocked because they post a status update, a pic or post something in the forums which immediately shows me that we are not ever going to be remotely compatible. |

I’ve only ever blocked one and that was for persistently messaging after I’d told him I wasn’t interested.
I did get blocked last week because I couldn’t meet someone as I was working. Those type of blocks I don’t get. |

A closeup cock pic as an avatar but only if they won't stop messaging. My block list is quite short because I'm extremely keen on people controlling their own behaviour. I'll only block as an absolute last resort, my goal is to get them to understand they need to listen to women and stop doing something if they've been asked to. |

"I don't dwell on the silly ones, mostly, I'm just not handling some of that crap. Others I dwell on, but you take the good with the bad around here, learn from it, and move on stronger."
If I'm not interested I just delete messages as it states very clearly on my profile. But some people just keep messaging over and over and its then I'll say please stop, you need to accept it if someone isn't interested. It doesn't happen often enough to impinge on my time but if it did then I'd probably block more often. |
