I have a shoe dilemma...I have some that I love that go perfectly with my dress, but they're 4" heels so probably a bit high for wearing all day now I'm knocking on a bit

I have new shoes!! (Ruby Shoo). Decided it was time to treat myself. They have nice insoles & are so comfy with a perfect height heel

Oh, I do like Ruby Shoo, but they're not the right style to go with the dress I'm wearing...I might treat myself to some anyway, it's nearly Christmas after all

Breakfast! People meet up for breakfast, last time I had the privilege of nursing a sore head through first breakfast with a lovely woman and her husband and boyfriend. Then I had a second breakfast with Sam and Lacey.

Everything looks a bit Amish this season. I went to the shops last week and everything has a very high neck and is too long for me. The colours remind me of things I wore in the 70s and I'm not sure about some of the flounces.

I'm glad my existing clothes still fit.

Just to make you all aware, both GG and I are aware of COVID updates, we keep ourselves as up to date as possible with any new restrictions or changes that may occur.

We don’t have a crystal ball unfortunately and cannot plan for the government advice in 4 weeks time.

We are in regular contact with the venue management team also!

We will however keep a very close eye on things and keep you updated on any changes as soon as we know

Also to add we have decided it’s not wise to allow anymore onto the guest list even though we are expecting dropouts.

Hotel bookings are obviously a concern and it might be wise to look into what the plans are at your hotel.

We are very much still intending to go ahead and the venue is staffed with very experienced security staff who see thousands of people a month. It isn’t some two-bit, back street hovel. So you can rest assured that the distancing and covid checks will be well looked after.

Let’s not stress. We can do this. And if you feel it’s all too much for you its not long til April.

We don’t have a crystal ball unfortunately and cannot plan for the government advice in 4 weeks time.

We are in regular contact with the venue management team also!

We will however keep a very close eye on things and keep you updated on any changes as soon as we know

Also to add we have decided it’s not wise to allow anymore onto the guest list even though we are expecting dropouts.

Hotel bookings are obviously a concern and it might be wise to look into what the plans are at your hotel.

So had a slight panic, was checking hotel confirmation and opened on email to say I had booked Friday night only, slight panic and cold sweat. I’ve only been to one and then a group of us stayed in the venue until closing.

Some will go off for food, some will go to a club, some will just disappear to do their own thing.
