Following the massive success of the Sjegness 2010 social, here is the date / venue for 2011.
Butlins Minehead "Ultimate 80s on 30th Sep to 3rd Oct 2011"
Do I need a passport for Minehead ? I've not been so far down the country before.
We'll book our room within the next couple of days, so please let us know when you are able to confirm your bookings. |

Standard rooms at Minehead for this period are £231.60 (2 people) Dinner, bed and Breakfast
Silver rooms for the same period are £248.60 (2 people, Dinner, bed and Breakfast
Gold - £347 (2 people) ouch !! But boy are they posh.
Honeypot - Go for Silver - at least you'll get a double bed this time  lolololololol  ))   |

Minehead station is only a couple of hundred yards from Butlins. Come on the train and one of us will pick you up from the station |

By train or rail If you are travelling by train, the nearest main line station to Minehead is Taunton. A bus transfer service is operated by Southern National between Taunton Station and Minehead. This service is available at an additional cost. On Mondays to Saturdays, there's approximately an hourly service, with the last bus leaving Taunton Railway Station at 10:15 pm. |

Booked, opted for a Silver room as the standard rooms only have baths. 
Only paid 25 GBP deposit and I can pay more over the next few months until Aug 2011!

Maybe we should consider going together? Well sharing a room.anyway lol, I will book a room and stick the deposit down at the end of the month if you like? I'll be taking the train too, so we could probably meet up somewhere along the way. We got along well at the bbw bash. As its a year away it gives us loads of time to save up. Minehead station is part of the preserved West Somerset Railway and not directly connected to the mainline system for through trains. Yes, the track is there but no facility for a direct connection because National Rail won`t allow it! Bastids |

What we observed when we were at Skegness last year was that, the groups that dressed up as near to or identical were the most noticable.
Hence we thought about dressing up en masse in the same outfits etc...

Looks like we won't be able to go now ...
Our Daughter is celebrating her partner's 30th birthday and has booked to go to Skegness Butlins guess when ?
On the same fucking weekend that we were going to Minehead, and they want us to go with them (Taxi!). We knew about this a long time ago, but being as scatterbrained as the pair of them are, we've been waiting to see if they changed their mind, or it fell through but alas, they haven't changed their mind and they've paid their deposit, so it looks a though we're going to have to swap our booking to accommodate them ...

I (Bob) have changed from being self employed to employed and I'll struggle to get the time off so looks like we ain't going anyplace now.

We're all paid up now. Had a letter this morning saying our outstanding balance was overdue
But it's sorted now, so we can start saving for our beer money and gotta sort mt tranny cozzy for Saturday night.
Anybody got any size 10 heels that I can borrow? |
