"has anyone got this working on s5620? cant get location 2 b recognised. help pls. "
Just dug out my old monte and after 1st check its acquiring GPS and that Map finding me did then switch Near Me on but oddly the results matched where my newer samsung was last.. When I refreshed my new samsung my monte was simply mirroring results from my new phone. It should be noted I wasn't even getting "location can't be found" warning, nor the "your position is Lat/Long"..
As an aside, I now recal that one thing with the monte I hated was whilst it had GPS, I never saw it interact with antother feature on the phone (e.g. Camera - it never left metadata on pic file). Also I felt map location was derived more from 2G/3G signal as opposed to the GPS as was never very accurate..
So wonder if that phone actually works with this feature of the site
Sorry can't help more |
