Windows phone can never seem to find current location.

a) correctly show your location in Nokia and Bing maps?

b) show your location on other web sites, e.g. Google Maps?

There's some detailed info available from Microsoft. Try Googling for "Location and your privacy FAQ" and following the 1st link."

I suggested the advice above to somebody with a Lumia, but they didn't say whether it had worked before they left the site! Please post back if it helps?

Check settings on the phone and see if location setting is on

My 800 was ok until a recent software update. Now its not working with 'who's online'.

yeah me too. What do I have to enable to make my phone findable?

And would I have to have a fab icon on my phone apps? Don`t really want that in case little fingers get hold of my phone.
