I posted this, and then turned it on, just to make sure. The first result was a guy from Stockton on Tees, hundreds of miles away, not the under 1 mile that Fab claim.
So I pm'd him, and he's staying at a hotel down the road!! So yeah, it kind of is working well!!! |

yes my galaxy is doing the same
it was ok but the last week or so I get the message in red telling me what to do
I followed the instructions but still the same
I can't get the cam section on here either

You can only use cam if you download flash. It isn't available from Android market now, so you have to download direct from Adobe. But beware you get loads of pop ups and ads through it, and it will half your battery life. |

Good! When you turn on "Who's Near", it shows you lat and lon at the bottom of the page, is this accurate?

I have an S3 too but the "near me" functions differently depending on the browser used and its privacy settings.
As others have said, your phone's location settings must be enabled. Does Google maps pinpoint your location reliably?
Is your browser set in private mode? Is it set not to track your location?
I'm afraid you'll have to explore different browsers and their settings in order to find something that works. |
