Don't think I wanked there, did get very lightheaded in the plane thou. Was back in the 90s before it became whole Warbirds thing.

It was Warbirds over Wanaka Easter weekend. I can sadly still say that I have never been to it.
I even missed the two Hercules planes doing a flyover of the city to mark 85yrs of the NZ Airforce  |

Wanaka is one of my favourite holiday destinations, even if just for a weekend.
The lake is beautiful with some amazing swims possible. Great cycling and walking trails, the mountains all around and some superb little cafes.
You should look up Mou Waho. A beautiful island within the lake with its own lake. |

Yes, I've heard of Mou Waho and seen photos. I also like the view of Mt Aspiring from there. |
