So if Brits moving to Australia and New Zealand refer to it as "moving down under", do Aussies and NewZealanders moving to Britain refer to it as "moving up over"?

If you have a skill contact the immigration service for NZ.they are looking for sheet metal workers railway engineers and more.

I know staff at the high commission and you can register and see the vacancies online and approach companies if your serious about moving.

Of course it's not as easy as that but if you have the right skills you will be fine.

Is very expensive I've been here 6 yrs now. Cost of living, getting a mortgage you need 20% deposit and 2nd hand cars too. But the quality of life is far better

Is new Zealand worth the move I'm really interested but hear mixed stories I work in a trade so know there's work but do you actually have a better life?

Depends where you move to. Auckland is enormously expensive. In my opinion, moving to a small town is the better experience anyway. I lived in a smaller place for 3 years. Very cheap and easy travelling around the whole country. And it’s a fabulous country to discover.

As a bonus, there’s a very healthy swinging scene.
