I think you'll find that those who criticise the Tories, Brexit, and injustice in British society, are the same as those who criticise Trump.
The people who think it doesn't matter how many kids are starving, as long as Boris Johnson's mates can be handed multi million pound contracts. Are the same people who think Trump is the man.
Most rational humans can have opinions on more than one subject at a time.

Not sure letting Kurds (who saved lots of American servicemen in the war on isis) die at the hands of the Turkish is something to be proud of. Just like us with interpreters in Iraq.
Also recognising Jerusalem as the capitol of Israel is just being an arse to the Palestinians who are being evicted.
If the Spanish started building settlements in Gibraltar we would soon kick off!
As for economics
The extra Trillion debt before Covid isn’t the best performance.
If you look back at the economic growth the graph clearly shows Obama’s regime had started the path and on that there is no doubt.
Only better growth was Clinton.
I have to admit Hilary was not the person for me as she’s like our government which is same old club over and over. So I could see why Trump was seen as fresh.
But his debts were growing after he lost the apprentice revenue $457m
So he saw the Presidency as a nice boost.
His golf weekends constantly at the tax payers expense and working part time are a disgrace. Government positions for family. Nice little earner in China for his daughter.

His companies have loans and the loans are secured on his properties which have dropped in value.
He’s insisted on political meetings at his own golf clubs. Why? Also his security pay to stay at great expense.
People who want his time stay in his hotels why? He’s not taking the pay so doesn’t need the money as you say. The pay is not as good as the perks.
He has debt payments of $165m due in 2021 $385m in 2022 And the numbers keep growing.
His business on paper doesn’t have high leverage but his problem is he doesn’t have cash. He’s running out of cash which is where his massive risk is growing. He’s not making money.
He clams £2.5 Billion but Forbes are so sure now. The debts on his his towers in New York and San Francisco are now owned by a secretive lender Vornado . Rumoured to be Russian owned.
His golf clubs are all losing money. Half of the money he made from the Apprentice went on paying due loans. He didn’t have the cash elsewhere.
The way he runs his business is a money chase like the late great Robert Maxwell hmmm. it works but only for so long if the core business isn’t bringing in enough cash,
He has not relinquished any of his business interests and the corruptness of vested interest just stinks in anyone’s books.
I’m not saying he hasn’t got wealth he certainly has moved enough sideways for a rainy day.
I just think the money he inherited is probably going to be lower in value when he’s finished
