The reason he might not concede is he is not stupid. If the courts deem the election null and void it goes to the house of representatives. Each state gets 1 vote. 37 of them are republican.

If it goes that far the election goes to the house of representatives. There they vote 1 vote per state.

You do know that Biden has won? Every legal objection is getting thrown out and Biden is on target for 306 Electoral Votes (just like Trump did - so it will be a “landslide”).

Your country is looking less like a Democracy the longer this farce goes on...

The whole thing is a mess but letting people post in voting slips on the day of the election is farcical the deadline for posting should be a week prior so there can be a result within 48 hours maximum after the election.

How ever you look it the election its been a mess if the result is genuine then vote again the result surely should be the same.

In each of the states where challenges have been raised by trump's campaign under law suits they have been thrown out..

He doesn't have a masterplan or some 4d chess game going on. His aim is simple: chaos and see what if anything comes out of it. This is the opinion of Scaramucci and Maggie Haberman, 2 people that know him well.

A shared aim with the GOP is to delegitimise Bidens victory. The 12th amendment is only relevant in the event of a candidate not getting 270 votes in the Electoral College.

Its not hypocrisy. You're justifying Trump and the GOP attempting to undermine the results of a democratic election by claiming the Democrats would do the same. That assertion is without any foundation in reality, much like claims of voter fraud.

It's the legal precedent in the constitution that needs to be defended. If he is wrong he is wrong. This is a circuit breaker that sets legal arguments for future elections.

A shared aim with the GOP is to delegitimise Bidens victory. The 12th amendment is only relevant in the event of a candidate not getting 270 votes in the Electoral College.

But yet it's hypocrisy at its finest if the roles were reversed and bidens team had the same exact game plan. The electoral college hasn't voted yet.

Its not hypocrisy. You're justifying Trump and the GOP attempting to undermine the results of a democratic election by claiming the Democrats would do the same. That assertion is without any foundation in reality, much like claims of voter fraud.

Justifying his legal team actions when the Democrats had the same plan so people have a general understanding is bad in your eyes ? Right or wrong this game has to play out.

"The reason he might not concede is he is not stupid. If the courts deem the election null and void it goes to the house of representatives. Each state gets 1 vote. 37 of them are republican.

I’m anti Brexit as most on here know. I thought the voters were mislead and lied to on both side to an extent but I think more on the leave. That’s my belief.

But I can tell you much as I hated the result I have not an ounce of doubt the count was fair and wouldn’t challenge it.

Would I like a recount now everyone knows the reality? yes. Will I get one? no!

You have to accept the vote as a country and move on! Just because some people don ‘t agree is no reason to defame and destroy your institutions.

I personally would like MP’s to go to jail if they knowing lie over anything to do with their public life. Adultery in their private life go for it! Unless it’s a Russian hooker and he’s the secretary for defence.

That would sort the spin out and reality would be a pleasant change.

"It’s much better to let it play out as it will be even more humiliating for trump "

Exactly and everyone can call him a 2 time loser.

"The reason he might not concede is he is not stupid. If the courts deem the election null and void it goes to the house of representatives. Each state gets 1 vote. 37 of them are republican.

Why would they declare it null and void?

If there is voter fraud proven in the courts.

Do you not think if there was then with all the law suits thus far they might have shown that?

Not talking about anomalies or human error..

He has the right to challenge it went to the house twice in US history.

Yes, am not questioning his rights under the constitution am asking the obvious question that where is the fraud?

There's been in excess of 27 cases that I'm aware of and all thrown out due to a total lack of evidence..

All he needs is 1 to cast doubt. I know it's far fetching but this is why he not conceding.

One won't overturn the result..

This is more about pandering to the base ..

And Hillary telling biden the same is not pandering to his base ?

How far do you want to go back?

The issue is this election that has been shown thus far to have been lawful..

Thus far yes it has didn't say it wasn't I just making a statement why he is doing what he can to change the outcome. The same as what the Democrats planned if the election was in trump's favor. Not many people on here understand the reason he is doing what he doing.

It's the legal precedent in the constitution that needs to be defended. If he is wrong he is wrong. This is a circuit breaker that sets legal arguments for future elections.

I think after trump they won’t let another celebrity near the place !

Even the republicans know he’s a lose cannon!

The world needs stability in the US . He’s brought division and chaos.

I see he’s reduced the trade balance with China but it’s cost steel jobs.

He just seems to lurch from one tweet to another depending on what he had for dinner.

The constant fake news undermined your whole perception of truth being the most important thing. Saying fake news is not an argument.it’s an attempt at disruption.

I was hoping he would shake up the old corrupt system but he is too erratic for such a job.

The president needs to speak softly and carry a big stick . Not play fucking gold every weekend.

More bullshit from him as I won’t play anymore golf when I’m elected !

He’s a part time president ! .

Such an amazing country deserves better. Not sure that’s Biden either !

I agree but this is a constitutional attack that would have happened from BOTH sides. It's not about the candidate anymore. I wish some people can see that.

Please there's no constitutional issue and no both side to this, the only issue is the current president has to acknowledge the winner of the election and allow the transition to commence. It's as simple as that.

But 70 million other americans are demanding something different. Legal avenues have to be approached. This way it's is a definitive loss for Trump."

And the 79 million that voted in favour of their candidate? Biden won the election. Won the popular vote and the electoral college. No fraud, no electoral interence. Rejecting that result means you're rejecting the democratic process and the will of the electorate.

There are no viable legal avenues to change the electoral result.

There's no constitutional issue whatsoever, you can claim there is but that claim has no foundation in reality. And once again there is no foundation in reality that he lost because of illegal votes or votes not counted. The truth is the American electorate denied Trump a second term. They did not reject the Republican party, the GOP did better than expected in the House and Senate.

The President of the United States throwing tantrums is unprecendented, that's not what the constitution is for. The GOP is now the hostage of the trump party, some 70% of republican voters believe the election was stolen. The GOP isn't saying the election was stolen, they're saying give the toddler in chief what he wants. They're saying that because they're scared of his base.

"Now you know why nothing confirmed and why biden not getting security briefs or a GSA confirm."

Basically trump has won all of 1 case since Election Day... that election monitors in one place can stand closer to people counting...

So 30 cases so far.... and all his has won is “14 feet”....... the trump campaign keep screaming fraud... but in not one case that’s come across a judge’s court so far has a trump lawyer shown any fraud... it’s been about procedure! Any time a judge has asked them for proof of fraud they have had to admit that they have none..

When it gets to the point where the next Vice President can get a national security briefing... but the next president can not, then you know the system is not working

It has now gotten to the point of petulance and pettiness....

"The whole thing is a mess but letting people post in voting slips on the day of the election is farcical the deadline for posting should be a week prior so there can be a result within 48 hours maximum after the election.

How ever you look it the election its been a mess if the result is genuine then vote again the result surely should be the same. "

That may have been the case in a lot of states if they had been allowed to count early voting ballots in advance, which is what they do for example in Florida.... hence why you got a full count done quickly

But in Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Georgia .. the democrats actually asked for this to happen... but in every case, the republican state legislature’s voted against it.. so that early voting ballots were counted after those made same day... and in some cases did not even start counting them till the day after

This I need to pull you up on....... trump won Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania in 16 by far less margins... 10k, 20k and 40k.... the democrats did not challenge any of them

This time Biden won Michigan by 150k, Wisconsin by 50k and looks like will win Pennsylvania by 100k....

2A has no relevance to the topic. By not acknowledging the election result the President is impeding the peaceful transition of power and undermining the legitimacy of Biden's electoral victory. Trump is also ignoring the democratic decision of the voters.

And all against the background of a national emergency.

This way it's is a definitive loss for Trump.

And the 79 million that voted in favour of their candidate? Biden won the election. Won the popular vote and the electoral college. No fraud, no electoral interence. Rejecting that result means you're rejecting the democratic process and the will of the electorate.

There are no viable legal avenues to change the electoral result.

And what is the issue of him being proved wrong ? The real issue is what if he is right. Then what ? Like I said it is a constitutional issue not a " canidate" issue like it or not that is what the constitution was set in place for he can throw all the tantrums he wants but it's the people's right too to know that the constitution was upheld.

First the electoral college didn't vote yet. GSA is not confirmed yet. I not making a claim I stating what precedent he is trying to follow. The majority of Republicans believe in that paper to the letter as it was written. 2nd amendment ring a bell for you ? That being said let him have his tantrums. In the end run since you worried about my claim. My claim is biden won.

2A has no relevance to the topic. By not acknowledging the election result the President is impeding the peaceful transition of power and undermining the legitimacy of Biden's electoral victory. Trump is also ignoring the democratic decision of the voters.

And all against the background of a national emergency."

The base Republicans are seeing this a attack on election rights. 2A has been a staunch right to many Republicans. I used it as a example as to what Biden has to contend with. I have no doubt in my mind like I stated multiple times that biden is the winner. But I just trying to help people understand the thought process of what is happening or might happen.

So what is you're saying is the Republican base is divorced from reality? Because there is no evidence of electoral rights being affected. What is appears that the Republican base are angry because they cannot affect the voting rights of others.

You don't get to claim election results are invalid when your guy didn't win. That's not how it works.

"I think that there should be a recount and even a rerun of the election, is it just me or wasnt it strange how biden got almost all the votes during that night?"

Explained above by the votes on mailed in not being allowed to be counted as they arrive but only after polling closed. They got counted last,

The Republicans wouldn’t allow counting in advance and then tried to stop the counting afterwards.

Just trying to cheat basically

You’ll find probably in the Georgia recount that is not true... it’s not true in Michigan.... it’s not true in Pennsylvania.... it’s not true in Wisconsin

In fact it’s republicans meddling in Georgia to get legitimate votes thrown out.(that would be the republican sec of state in Georgia making the claim about other republicans)... Lindsay Graham said he did the same thing in Nevada and Arizona (also another state with a republican sec of state), and trump is meddling in try to get the votes in Detroit decertified with Michigan republicans

So as you were saying.... which side is it that is trying to take democracy away

If it's taken a recount in Georgia to reveal thousands of unopened votes, how many other states have boxes of uncounted votes?

I did read in one state that votes had been found at various depots of the US Postal service, and a judge has ordered twice daily 'sweeps'..

Not sure where they are from, or why they were missed or even who they may benefit..

Belpre

Biden won by a landslide in a fair election. By far a more fair election than was run in 2016 which is factual, not an opinion.

What trump is doing is childish nonsense, and unprecedented in our history of democracy.

He lost a fair election to Biden who will have 306 electoral votes, a landslide win, and nearly 6,000,000 more popular votes, the highest popular votes in American history.

Republicans have tried to suppress as many votes as possible by minorities for forever, and they continue this tactic because they know minorities vote more to the left than right. Even in this election the republicans were trying to suppress minority votes any way they could, and I'm sure it cost Biden some more votes he would

have gotten. But when you win by such a landslide margin in electoral and popular votes,

there's no question who won and who lost. Childish trump is so mad he lost to Obamas Vice President that he can't control himself, so he's throwing temper tantrums in front of white house staff, lashing out anyway he possibly can against people that dont agree with his nonsensical lies, refusing to concede to President Elect Biden in a fair election that he knowingly lost, firing honest intelligent key people in government, and just basically trying to cause as much trouble and instability as possible before he has no choice but to leave office, because he is a spoiled childminded idiot that shouldn't have been put in office to start with. He never ran a business properly, or anything else, so how could he run a

country properly, he couldn't, and it showed he couldnt 95% of the time or more while he was in

office.

Our republican representatives in the house and the senate should be ashamed by how they've acted over the last four years, following that idiot trump, they've really looked like fools. I knew they had mostly outdated mindsets about many things, but there are some good republicans, but that being said, I never thought they would coward down to such an idiotic, draft dodging, womanizing, cheater, racist, liar, ect...ect..., that

only cares about himself. He never cared for 99.99% of his followers, he just fed them mouth fulls of his crap that they just ate it up over and over without question, and he succeeded in getting them to follow him and his total nonsense like good little minions. That's the true enigma, for everyone that can see the facts.

Oh well, his time is almost over, but he's made a real mess of things already to straighten back

out, and is continuing to mess things up even more just for spite, because he is a poor loser.

Time for true democrats to stand uo. No more weasel words of "courts deciding" The electorate decided. It is over and every day that Trump holds out shames the USA.

The Republicans are also giving the Democrats a massive boost for the upcoming Senate run offs.If I was a Republican and a patriot I would be ashamed of this shambles .

What load of baloney as nearly 80m voters would say! If over 150m vote, the count will not be precise down to exact numbers. If your assumption is to be followed through, then every county, every state would need to do at least 3 counts to give an average. Or maybe a 100 counts. How ridiculous, the system has checks and balances with observers and test recounts to validate. It works, it just didn’t give you the result you wanted this time!

Trump is a LOSER and needs to get over the fact he has lost - he has LOST fairly. No evidence of any material errors have been found. Courts have thrown out his legal challenges, Republican’s running the voting have told him it is all fair and above board, but lemmings keep following Trump

Ok you don't believe in democracy that everyone has a right to a vote but decent people do believe in democracy."

That would be funny if it wasn’t for the fact that the republicans are trying to get every vote in the city of Detroit and its surrounding area tossed.....

And Philadelphia.......

And Milwaukee........

And the Atlanta suburbs....

So let’s not really play that game Dave...... you really want to play that game...

This is the Republican Party that even tried to get votes from military families tossed in Nevada...

So.. Dave.... you REALLY wanna go there......

"It's a very worrying time for American citizens democracy.

If it's taken a recount in Georgia to reveal thousands of unopened votes, how many other states have boxes of uncounted votes?"

Did they recount all these thousands of unopened votes?

"It is the people of America who have lost, their democracy has been taken away from them

Awww.... Dave..... okay I’ll bite because I want to hear his conspiracy theory.....

Just how has democracy been taken away.......

Thousands of unopened votes, many Americans who've had their democratic rights taken away from them.

When's the Eurovision watchthrough going to happen?

Ok I see you're totally against democracy but the facts are that there have been thousands of uncounted votes found in Georgia.

I believe that every American citizen should have the right to their vote.

Thousands.... by that you are talking about the alleged case of 2000 that were mislaid....

Last time I checked Biden had a 25,000 lead in Georgia...... we should get the results of the hand counted recount in Georgia in the next hour or so...

So since I answered yours how about answering mine.... why are republicans trying to meddling in getting legitimate votes tossed in Georgia, in Nevada, in Arizona, in Michigan, in Wisconsin and in Pennsylvania.....

More rubbish from you

The "alleged case of 2000 votes" is not alleged nor is it 2000

It is official that 5800 votes in three separate parts of Georgia were uncounted.

That's 5800 Americans who wouldn't have had their vote count if it wasn't for a recount.

Ok you don't believe in democracy that everyone has a right to a vote but decent people do believe in democracy."

What was the result of the recount?

.

PA GOP can go whistle. From the statement issused by Department of Homeland Security's Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA): "There is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way compromised." The 2020 election was the "most secure in American history"

In 2008 it was the Birther nonsense, then Benghazi, then the crowdstrike server tale. Now its a nefarious plot by Venezuela, Cuba, China and old faithful himself George Soros.

Surely time to end this farce. Trump has to be told by those around him he is in danger of being forcibly removed. He is destroying the Republicans chances in on going elections. The USA has become a running joke worldwide, what a sad situation for a once respected ally.

What the agency failed to disclose is that Dominion is a member of CISA's Election Infrastructure Sector Coordinating Council. One of two entities that authored the statement put out by CISA.

In addition Smartmatic is another member.

The whole point of Trumps antics is not to stay President but to make sure he is the unchallenged Republican presidential candidate for 2024.

Dan crenshaw 2024

Not trump then "

Crenshaw would be an interesting name... but remember at this point he is only a 1 term congressperson... people forget AOC is as well...

Don’t see him being a president... but if a Texas senate seat came up... let’s say John cornyn in 2026 if he were to retire ... I could see that ..

I think trumps play is this....

Mope for a bit.... then just before the run offs in Georgia he will announce he is going to run in 2024 and urge Georgia republicans to go out and vote in masses....they manage to split one seat each (warnock beats loeffler but Perdue manages to hold on against ossoff) those keeping the senate in republican control... trump basically then takes a victory lap and dares any other republican to run against him! He can then claim that all the impending court cases of fraud and tax matters are a political hit job on him

Come January 20th at 12:00 noon Est., donny trump is FIRED ; ) !

The childish fool will just be a dirty stain in the history books and nothing he does can change that now.

He had four years to do right by the people, but his seriously lacking mental capacity, constant lies, and his very unwarranted vanity about himself ruined it, just like it has ruined all other aspects of his whole life.

At least 70% or more of the civilized world knows trump is nothing but a childish fool that never should have been in office. The rest haven't been wise enough to realize that yet, and some never will realize it because their like trump, lacking the mental capacity to separate fact from fiction.

Trump should be the poster child for the need of correct factual education in all schools, and for the need of factual information on social media platforms.

It's all over for trumpy but the crying, and I'm sure he will be crying the blues even harder once the New York courts get a hold of him after January 20th.

Now the New York courts are going after trumpys daughter too.

Even Mr. Meuller is seriously considering going forward with criminal charges after trumpy is out of office and fair game again without presidential protections.

Then there's the creditors that plan to foreclose on some of trumpys properties when they get him in court.

Not to mention the foreign investors that what a piece of trumpys assets too.

ALL ABOARD, the trump train !

You paid for your ticket, and he loves taking your money anyway he possibly can, by hook or crook as he's already demonstrated.

Now you get your short carefree ride to IDIOTSVILLE, where facts and reality are nowhere to be found.

And, you can choose to stay there in trumps

dreamland too, for the very small down payment of your brain, and then your unconditional loyalty, and finally just your soul.

Hell, trumpy should have been a television evangelist, because he's nothing but a snake oil salesman anyway !

Brilliant

He said he will accept Biden as the winner when the electoral college people have voted. No doubt he's putting pressure on them to vote for him even if Biden got the vote in that state.
