I see today Greenpeace again has wasted a considerable amount of money on legal and court fees for yet another folly.
When will they understand that while there is demand for natural gas, that demand will be met, whether LNG, Russia, the UK coast or any place for that matter.
I do not see the point in taking the UK government and companies to court to stop the extraction of gas which, if successful would simply mean someone else will supply it.
The problem is demand. Reduce the need for gas at the end point and naturally, demand will fall as well with it
As such, I am cancelling my subscription and choosing a more effective place to put my donations.
Greenpeace would have been better using resources for campaigns to reduce carbon demand in the UK housing stock. |
