This current government seem to be obsessed with blame, still blaming the labour government for stuff that happened well over a decade ago as have previous governments, labour did the same but as a voter I'd like to see a party that's willing to hold their hands up and own their mistakes be responsible for their own actions and stand by decisions.
The NHS is in a fucking shambles, immigration is a fucking shambles tackling homelessness is a fucking shambles, housing training and employing skilled workers, social services, care and support you could go on and on with stuff that's tied up in bureaucratic nonsense red tape costing the tax payers billions.
I know it's never going to happen but trust is something I feel this government has lost all they do is lie and stab each other in the back covering their own arses.
The COVID enquiry is a classic example it's not an enquiry it's a trial and unfortunately seems to be a trial by media once again.
So my question is will we ever have a government we can trust and act honorably and be responsible for their own actions? |

One of the single biggest problems with Govt is short-termism. Due to each Govt only “knowing” they are in power for b/w 4-5yrs compounded by Ministers having zero idea how long they will stay in post, it means long term strategic planning is always hampered and often undone by a replacement Govt (even if the same party stays in power).
As an analogy, Govt is often trying to build the plane while it is already flying. |

Could it also be that they work within an antiquated system with added technology.
I really don’t think with the communication technology we have today that the political system is suitable for the times. |
