At least he is a very successfull one . Not many people would have any regrets about winning an election with an 80 seat majority.

The intimidation by supporters of Nicolas party against those with whom they disagree is hardly anything to be proud of.

The results of the investigation into what happened to the funding will be interesting . Let's see what happens to the motor home seized by the police. .

What? Successful? By what measure? Just because he managed to lie, cheat and steal his way into parliament doesn't make him a success. He lives off the success of those around him, but when the downfall happens he washes his hands and pretends he's the victim!

He isn't just a clown, he's a deliberate clown as and when he chooses in order to protect his own interests.

Sounds like a successful politician to me. Not a good or competent one but successful, yes.

To spend our money as frivolous as possible while pretending it's good for the nation.

You can tell the Tories excel at it.

Don't blame a clown for being a clown. Ask yourself why you keep buying tickets to the circus

For me it's someone who works to improve the lives of their constituency whilst trying to advocate the views of the constituency as clearly as possible.

I could name about 6 in parliament that I feel actually do that. Only one is an ex Tory. I don't believe a single serving Tory does that at all.

Most MPs from all parties work extremely hard to serve the needs of their constituents .

You do not just become an MP by chance. You will probably served in local politics for many years and been extremely active. Many people want to become MPs so you will have to pass the criteria of the selection panel.

To be an MP you are making an enormous number of sacrifices

Disagree. Maybe some of the older generations yes, but it's incredibly simple to become a Tory MP. You just have to be part of a right wing think-tank or have some money left over from your days as a banker in London and you're in!

Johnson is/was/will always be a clown, liar a charlatan that cannot be denied.

However I'll stick up for the vast majority of MPs, most are in it to make a difference. No one can say Jess Phillips hasn't stood by her values, even Theresa May stood by her values.

Just because you don't agree with their politics, doesn't mean you can admire their resolution to do their right thing.

Problem is the tory party is infested with ideologies transfered from right wing think tanks, funded by influential overseas groups determined to undermine democracy for profit.
