With various councils going bankrupt, I'm shocked at the amount of money spent on taxis

Have a look at your own council/County Council and see how much is being spent?

I had a look at this, it all looks dodgy to me!
One company over charging what its rivals would charge by £11 million a year! The councils refusal to release figures under freedom of information requests.
It would not surprise me if the police get involved, some agency need to look at the finances and management, the councils own financial report calls out poor management as a critical impact on budget. |
