A Reform candidate knocks on my door:

Do you vote?

Yes

Will you vote Reform?

No.

Okay we'll make sure we won't disturb you again.

Thanks.

Is that what they call a hard sell?

The last time any candidate knocked on my door was about forty years ago.

Sounds polite enough....from time to time, I have been verbally abused by callers from 2 mainstream parties on my own doorstep for saying that I couldn't vote for their hallowed candidates.

10/10 for reform, that canvassing was done in the correct order.

I'm not being disparaging. I'm glad they came and went. I'm just surprised there was no invite to discuss things.

I would imagine they get rather switched on to the people who are not going to change their minds, that will be their target on the doorstep. No point getting into a lengthy discussion with any other than those sitting on the fence.

I hope you don't mind me asking but, how would you be made a pariah if Reform's numpty was in charge?

Thanks in advance.

"How has voting worked out for everyone so far?"

Very happy so far. Tories decimated. Reform loathed by 75% of voters, but stoking a split on the right.

Labour getting on with governing, stabilising the economy, unlocking barriers to growth, increasing protection and pay for workers, fixing the NHS and rebuilding our status internationally.

Too early to know whether they will succeed but happy so far.

Quite simply on reforms stance on trans women / men is the worst out of the political parties Reform have parroted maga quite well on how they see trans insanity and Nigel is quite honest about it which is good to see , so makes voting easier for those of us not in agreement x

I had a funny phone call this afternoon. An indian bloke called and virtually begged me to vote labour. I politely told him that there was no way on earth I would vote labour and their goose was cooked and they could look forward to a real hammering at the polls next week.

Like your reform man he didn't argue a great deal so they are at it too by the looks of it.

Should be an interesting opinion poll on this governments performance.
