Clear isolation of Trump (and MAGA) by the rest of the G7 states (including the current chair). Trump obviously doesn’t care but in the absence of any current strategy trump is just firing from the hip seeking media air time. It’s not going to do anything to improve US politics or those in America who have a broader outlook and a sense of responsibility to the world in general. Trump’s early departure also suggests he is tantrumming his way forward , whether it is linked to regime overthrow in Tehran or otherwise, the collapse of US respectability is assured. |

I'm not sure how you have arrived at this? What tantrum is throwing and why? |

I doubt that many or any of the “G7” members are very high on Trump’s/US list of concerns. In global terms and from a US perspective they are mostly irrelevant.
Why would anyone care what France, Italy, or indeed the UK think? |

If you remember Trump also pulled out early from the 2018 G7 summit.
It was a diplomatic disaster as amongst other things he'd just withdrawn from JCPOA (the deal controlling Iran's nuclear program), he also wanted Russia's annexation of Crimea to be accepted and he had a date with his North Korean best buddy Kim lined up.
If you look at the 2018 G7 headline agenda it was maybe not Donald's cup of tea...
Investing in growth that works for everyone
Preparing for jobs of the future
Advancing gender equality and women's empowerment
Working together on climate change, oceans and clean energy
Building a more peaceful and secure world |

I remember the mocking at the g20 summit of mr trump when he piped up about the nord 2 pipeline and the surrender to Russia's dominance and control of European energy. |

“A sense of responsibility to the world in general”?
Could you explain what you mean by that please? |
