HMS Queen Elizabeth warship heads for Iran

The £3.2bn aircraft carrier HMS "Queen Elizabeth" has reportedly passed the Suez Canal and is heading towards Iran. Capacity for up to 72 aircraft, including a maximum of 36 F-35B fighter jets and various types of helicopters.
Nothing from Parliament but clearly military coalition against Iran is building. |

With the lack of a uk border and lack of readiness and security at uk military base's I reckon its the safest place for the vessel to be at sea.

I couldn't find any mention of Israel, the west or anty western country.

Article 13 (Recognized religious minorities)

"Zoroastrian, Jewish, and Christian Iranians are the only recognized religious minorities", who, within the limits of the law, are free to perform their religious rites and ceremonies, and to act according to their own canon in matters of personal affairs and religious education.
Article 14 (Non-Muslims)

RO8 HMS Queen Elizabeth was moored up in Portsmouth Harbour on Thursday morning 19th June 2025 as I sailed passed it.
RO9 HMS Prince of Wales is currently part of a NATO exercise including aircraft.
Perhaps the OP's reported source is confused? |

And who decides what is against the IRI? Of yeah, the guys who keep saying “there will be never ending consequences”. The guys who murder any citizen of their own country that speak against them. The guys who issue death sentences to people who write books. The guys who organise and finance the blowing up of tube stations and buses in London. The guys who would order the murder any LGBTQ+ person on sight. The guys who would have no qualms about blowing up oil tankers in the Persian gulf. Need I go on?
I’m not saying the US is right to just bomb Iranian nuclear sites, but these people need to be prevented from developing nuclear weapons. Despite their words to the contrary, it’s pretty clear that’s what they have been doing. |

The carrier on its way to the Far East is the Prince of Wales not the Queen Elizabeth, which was still moored up in Portsmouth last week. |
