Just notice this Philip Young case today with charges related to his now ex wife. It sounds like multiple men involved, over a long period of 13 years. Reading it, it sounds like they were doing swinger activity. Hence this thread we guess... |

No consent = not swinging.
If actually guilty of what he *seems* to be charged with, he should be locked up, and not in a special unit, and whatever happens to him, happens.

Aside from the wife's testimony, how could they prove spiking without any lab evidence? To be fair, this is one woman making an allegation against her now ex husband after 13 years.
Yes we are those kind of people who question when a woman raises an allegation but it doesn't mean we condone what they're alleging. |

You're right, it could be like that. Equally though it could be a bitter and resentful ex sticking her claws in. Because that does happen. Part of the reason we are very mindful of who couples we meet. |

At the moment the details are pretty thin so I think it best to keep an open mind.
If he did do a Pelicot and incapacitate his ex in order to have sex with multiple men, then throw the book at him and any co-conspirators.
However it could also be a case of a swinger relationship gone wrong with a vindictive ex seeking revenge. Or something completely different.
No doubt it will all come out in the trial.
Gets you thinking though, maybe he/they were on here. |

Not sure there's any encouragement..
Just a recognition that for some crimes and whether we like it or not and of course violence isn't justified not is it justice but those who frequent His Majesties Pleasure have a way of dealing with such people..

There is video evidence of what happened. The investigating force have released video stills of a man they're still trying to identify in connection with the ongoing investigation. I suspect the video footage is quite compelling, hence CPS authorising the charges.

A possible explanation if it one to one, his word against hers etc ..
But given the amount of charges by the CPS and the numbers of 'men' (beasts more like) it's a really poor attitude to come out with that..
Common knowledge that the charging rates for some vile acts in general are low as is the conviction rate so the sheer number is a huge indicator that the evidence is compelling..

There is an inherent risk here isnt there. It is predominantly men who recruit their partner into swinging and there are plenty of tales on here where people have come away from experiences with couples where the woman (the bait) is either too intoxicated or just didnt seem comfortable
Even with consent it is not a stretch to consider that it is more likely to be a woman who feels (or actually gets) violated in a swinging exchange |

I "claimed" nothing of the sort.
I merely pointed out the possibility alongside the the other possibility that it could be similar to Pelicot in France or anywhere in-between.
We know very little detail but some on here are trying to be judge jury and executioner all rolled into one.
We will only know after the trial.
Innocent until proven guilty anyone?
