Since Reagan ?

Just think about it.

Can't count Biden as he didn't know he was President.

Obama was likeable enough but what did he actually achieve?

Bush Jr a disaster with his foreign invasions.

Clinton a smart guy but basically a sex pest who disgraced the office of President.

Bush Sr the only thing people remember was him being sick all over the Japanese PM

Which brings us back to Reagan, another leader in his sunset years who still showed great vision, courage and humour. Like Trump he survived an assassination attempt and came back stronger 💪

Tbh I think Obama did achieve a lot. He took over right after the 2008 financial crash. US was one of the countries to recover the fastest which is quite an achievement granted that the American economy is generally more resilient than the other countries.

That’s a tough question. I think Reagan was their best president in modern times, but some of the historical figures such as Lincoln will always be hard to surpass.

But you asked since Reagan, so possibly yes, and I can’t say I particularly like Trump. I just think the recent batch have not been great. I think Obama was a great man, a far better person than Trump perhaps, but sometimes being a great leader isn’t about being a nice guy, it’s about being an arsehole and taking paths other would never have taken.

I think Democrat Presidents tend to be cautious and Republicans tend to be reckless. Only time will tell if Trump's recklessness produces positive long term results...

Some leaders are proactive and some are reactive. But many are proactive in some areas and reactive in others. Starmer for example is very proactive in destroying the county but reactive when it comes to foreign policy

But what has Trump actually done?

Other than basically trying to repeal and reverse everything that Obama did… not actually much?

Can I give you an example….

What was the very first bill each signed into law as president ? They both had control of senate and house so they had the same conditions.. they could put through whatever legislation they wanted!

So what was the priority?

Trumps first bill was to pass a law saying the government could audit new employees

Obamas first bill… making it federally legal that women had to be paid the same as men for the same job! (It’s called the lily Ledbetter equal pay act… if you want to look it up)

Actually…. If you look up what has happened passed under Trump…. It’s not actually a lot… 2 big tax cuts for his mates, but not a great deal else!

No. He's sought to undermine the democratic principles of the office and doesn't respect the laws. He was influential in the storming of the Capitol, where lives have been lost. He's seemingly gone for financial gains, due to his position. Thoroughly unsuitable for the position for many reasons

What has he done you ask? I’m actually not as obsessed with other countries politics as some in here who seem to live or die by trumps tweets, but…..

Stood up for women’s rights, in sports in particular but in general. Hands up who thinks women’s rights aren’t important.

This one thing helps 50% of the US population so I think that alone is quite an accomplishment. There’s still ongoing battles in some states where men are trying to abolish women’s rights but I think Trump and common sense will prevail.

I know most people to the left don’t think women’s rights matter so won’t call this an achievement, but if you’re going to put your own bias on what can be classed as an achievement, then it’s impossible to answer your question.

What about women’s rights? Here’s a quick Google search:

The administration has indicated a shift towards restricting access to mifepristone, a drug used for medication abortion, with

The Department of Veterans Affairs has stopped providing abortion counseling and care, including in cases of r*or inc*est

The administration has proposed significant cuts

including the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program,

The administration has rolled back initiatives aimed at closing the gender pay gap and has been accused of weakening the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Reversion to 2020 Title IX rules has weakened protections against sexual harassment in educational settings.

Concerns exist that proposed tariffs and a potential economic downturn could disproportionately affect women's employment and wealth.

Proposed measures, such as the SAVE Act, have raised concerns about potentially disenfranchising millions of women, particularly those who have changed their names after marriage.

Undermined rights for transgender women and complicated protections for all women.

Is it, brilliant 🤣 so Starmer has been sucking Rupert Lowe and Farage off then? And swallowed the evidence.

I’d expect there’s a lot more likely explanations than getting to suck his dick. In fact I’d say that’s one of the least likely.

I’ll throw one out there for consideration….

More than half of the women in the country no longer have access to the women’s health rights they did because of his policies and the group’s he pandered to….

Women need to learn their place mate, obviously. Clearly those women shouldn’t be taking part in sports, they need to get back in the kitchen and do as they are told. And vote for who they are told too 😉

I just can’t believe in this modern age, women still think they have rights. They need to read a few pride leaflets and clean that toilet before their master gets home from banging his secretary.

Maybe you should know who Riley Gaines is if you are going to contribute, because she was literally “patient zero” for complaining about competing against a trans woman in competition and it becoming the issue it was (again… tied 5th with her in her swimming competition)

Again.. the irony being that her male swimming coach, who in her book she literally said she would die for, has been SA-ing dozens of her female teammates over the years he was at the university of Kentucky

So which one was more of a menace and a danger to women?

So quit with the faux outrage……

This one thing helps 50% of the US population so I think that alone is quite an accomplishment. There’s still ongoing battles in some states where men are trying to abolish women’s rights but I think Trump and common sense will prevail.

I know most people to the left don’t think women’s rights matter so won’t call this an achievement, but if you’re going to put your own bias on what can be classed as an achievement, then it’s impossible to answer your question.

I had to laugh because most of what you put down was laughable and I am glad that history buff called you out on it…

It was more a war on trans people rather than helping women…

Regarding trans women in college sports… do you know how many trans women were competing in college

It was 9!…. All that for 9 people, they were not sharing dressing rooms!

Maybe Riley Gaines should, rather than call trans women a menace because she tied 5th in a championship race, paid more attention to her male coach who was SA-ing multiple of her teammates!

More than half of the women in the country no longer have access to the women’s health rights they did because of his policies and the group’s he pandered to….

I don’t read their posts anymore so no idea what they said. I have no interest in reading the comments of people who support genocide.

So your point is as it’s only 9 men in women’s sports, those women should just shut the fuck up and have men destroy their rights?

Why do you hate women so much? What have they done to you? Hurt your feelings by turning you down so you now hate them all?

Maybe you should know who Riley Gaines is if you are going to contribute, because she was literally “patient zero” for complaining about competing against a trans woman in competition and it becoming the issue it was (again… tied 5th with her in her swimming competition)

Again.. the irony being that her male swimming coach, who in her book she literally said she would die for, has been SA-ing dozens of her female teammates over the years he was at the university of Kentucky

So which one was more of a menace and a danger to women?

So quit with the faux outrage…… "

I don’t need to know who anyone is. Have you met all of the hundred of thousands of women affected by it to know how they feel? No, and neither have I.

We are not discussing individuals, we are discussing principles and women’s rights. That fact that one woman may or may not be a be a bit of a bitch, doesn’t mean men can beat them up in a boxing ring.

Did you enjoy watching that in the Olympics? I should imagine quite a few misogynistic men were jacking off watching that

If you are going to mention imane khelif, then at least mention she finished 17th in the 2018 worlds… 33rd in the 2019 worlds … and was beaten by kellie Harrington in the quarters of the 2021 Olympics our kellie.. super talented!

You make imane sound like superman…

International amateur record of 43-9…. So at least 9 women beat her! … not so superman ish!

But what you have managed to do is hijack the topic with inane and inaccurate comments which you can’t back up

So shall we go back to how trump has managed to restrict women’s health rights to abortion access….

For example… if a woman in New Orleans, Louisiana needed to get an abortion for health reasons to keep her alive, do you know what would be the closest big city she would now be legally allowed to get one?

The answer would be…. Chicago, Illinois

But you keep on telling yourself Trump is the woman’s champion….

"He is the best at selling shite merchandise, increasing his own personal worth, at diminishing the prestige of the Presidency and creating division within the country. Well done Donny.

I agree he has diminished the prestige of the presidency, you’d be hard pressed to argue against that.

But you seem to be saying increasing your personal wealth is a bad thing? How so? "

The US President is not supposed to enrich himself through his position. Jimmy Carter was forced to sell his peanut farm so as not to be seen to benefit from an increase in sales due to his tenure as President. Trump has no such qualms and sees the role as a way of making a buck any way he can from dodgy Bibles through officially endorsed shite "gold" footwear. The man is an opportunistic scam artist - I'm surprised he hasn't a Trump brand snake oil on the market yet.

Using the threat of restrictions upon media companies by the apparatus of the state to cough up for the truths they said about his false claims and personal wrongdoing..

Feefdomesque..

No surprise to see the posters who priotise male entitlement over women's rights !

Cheese and ham on my sandwich please, and brush your teeth before you suck my cock. "

You're right about everything but the ham
