Fair dues to SKS, Labour have presided over many feck ups, but this is a definite foreign policy win for him (as things currently stand).
Meanwhile, Tories:
Badenoch had initially told LBC that the UK was involved in the war with Iran whether it liked it or not – before this week telling the BBC that joining Trump in the offensive would have been a bad idea.
Meanwhile, Reform:
Farage had said Starmer needs to “change his mind” and that the UK’s “gloves must come off” – but less than two weeks into the war in Iran, reversed his position entirely and said the UK doesn’t actually have the “capacity” to join the war.

"This won’t save him
136 local elections in eight weeks"
"The local elections will hurt, but not as much as they’ll hurt the people who get reform councils."
What are you expecting the new Reform-led councils to do that will be worse than whatever the current councils are doing? |

Oh the people can vote for whoever they choose, of course.
Speaking as someone who had a reform MP (now independent) I hope they don’t expect much, is all. |

"It's funny watching all the WE BE SOVEREIGN NATION types freaking out because a PM isn't bending over to a foreign power. "
I've always thought and said on here i dont really know what he stands for domestic politics wise but with Trump he's played it as best as he could and in not kow towing to the man child in this 'i had a feeling' Iran were going to attack despite no actual evidence nor intelligence Starmer has done the right thing..

Well considering this country has been supplying Iran funds through our benefit system along with some businesses financially helping Iran, not to mention the odd council probably investing in Iran, plus they want to destroy us for supporting Iraq in the Iraq/Iran war.
I'm surprised he didn't go in gung ho.
Expel any Iranian or sympathiser sending funds to Iran and seizing their assets.
Personally I wouldn't trust Iran whoever ends up running it.
Therefore I say join the Americans and Israel and get the job done swiftly.
Ban any pro Palestinian and Iranian protests immediately.
However I also feel Starmer involved in the middle east is like a bull in a China shop. A time bomb waiting to explode. |

"and isn't it funny how quickly the abuse and bullying have turned into petulant demands for assistance "
And when it goes wrong he can blame others for not getting involved in his failed ego trip.. |
