Starmer was never asked to be involved in the military action against Iran, he's simply lying by suggesting he was. The UK was asked to allow US use of some air bases which he first refused and then allowed.
It looks like the US will end its action within the 4-6 weeks framework which Trump outlined from the start and the outlandish claims about this being another Iraq or Vietnam are as unlikely as Morgan McSweeney having his phone 'stollen'. |

His stance was correct both in law and morally at tge outset, no notification of the attack, no reason other than which of the many given by trump and others..
Then as iran targeted Cyprus, Bahrain etc he changed his decision based upon that..
Got to be honest your assumptions based upon the flip flopping from trump etc is so funny..
Cherry picking one quote from the multitude made by Mr out of his depth is simplistic ..

He announced that everything they had announced would work for a war no one knew about or saw coming. .......sure thing bro
But, The media questioned him over something they promised to do in 6 months time, that they promised 4 months ago, to remove. When they didn't know the war was going to happen.
So as long as we all have crystal ball powers all these questions are highly relative
