The Darts Regulatory Authority has with immediate effect, changed their rules regarding women’s darts. From this point onwards, only biological women will be eligible to play in darts tournaments governed by the DRA which includes the PDC.
Other organisations outside of DRA control such as UKDA which organise the inter-county leagues and super leagues, and the WDF which organise international events all over the world and The Lakeside World Championship, took the same decision at the end of last summer.

Sounds sensible.
Thank goodness sanity is returning.
I just feel sorry for all those girls and women who have lost out to men competing in the wrong category. Childhoods ruined, sporting aspirations stopped in their tracks. We will never know how many girls and women have been put off trying new sports or competing. |

This is one area of politics where we can be genuinely optimistic. Huge credit goes to the many women who have fought against the mens rights movement for a decade or more of madness.💪 |

Hopefully this will not result in a discrimination case and common sense will prevail, finally |

They took legal as well as medical advice so hopefully they crossed all the tees. I’m not a lawyer but I don’t think the Supreme Court ruling can be challenged without new evidence and I’m not sure how there can be new evidence to suggest that men are in fact women and women aren’t any different to men.
They have taken the route of the WDF and the UKDA which have an open category which anyone can enter and a category for biological women only. This seems pretty fair to me as if you believe there’s no difference between men and women then the open category is perfect. Trans can compete in the open category against any women that also want to test their skills against all comers.
The only people that won’t be happy are those that knew they were cheating all along
