Never mind Iran v Israel, another cross border row has escalated in the picturesque Welsh seaside village of New Quay, not to be confused with the stag do capital of Cornwall, Newquay.

Locals are opposing a plan to build affordable housing for fears they will attract 'people from Birmingham' - according to one anonymous local.

Birmingham is Britain's second city, known as the home of heavy metal and it's irregular rubbish collections.

Who's in the right here, and should Sir Keir Starmer now tour the valleys in the name of international peace keeping?

None of his business, we have a Senedd for our politics. Locals are right obviously. England needs to build it's own houses. Not keep making our prices fly up keeping locals from ever dreaming to purchase. My own ttoen has seen priced skyrocket due to what seem Essex immigration.

That was not my intention! I was thinking a straight line east to west across the middle would make things so much easier, we would know where the Midlands is, North and South from that point.

I think it might level out the price hiking mentioned earlier too. It could be a radical idea hence removing it
