Agreed. I do think he knows exactly what he’s doing.
It’s great seeing the left’s mentality. "
Please don't mistake that for admiration. He's all sorts of horrible things, but people consistently write him off, where they should have a measure of acknowledgement for his achievements. The fact that people underestimate and see him as an object of ridicule probably helped significantly to put him where he is.
Laugh at Trump and his "deplorables" at your peril. Because someone gave "deplorables" the vote, then laughed at them. |

The "deplorables" jibe was one of the Democrats' many, many own goals. The fact that they still don't seem to have learned their lesson doesn't bode well for the progressive cause in the US. |

There are exactly two entities to blame for Trump being president (twice). The Republicans (for being weak) and the Democrats (for arrogance and ineptitude). |

It will be interesting to see what happens when Trump ceases to be President.
If the Democrats had any sense they will do what they should have done the first time around. Thanked him for his service and moved on.
I’m doubtful. I think many of the Democrats are so deranged by Trump that they will be desperate to try and jail him again. That in turn just fires up his base (probably around 35% of the US electorate) and perpetuates the division. |

I agree with this. The world needs to move on. Ignoring him will be a greater punishment than anything else. |

Ultimately the attention paid to Trump just demonstrates where the power lies.
Nobody spends their days freaking out about what Starmer or Von Der Leyen say. |

Starmer or von der Leyen don't spend their day posting halfwitted nonsense and outright lies on social media. It's nothing to do with power and everything to do with being an attention whore! |
