How are you defining patriotism in this example?

For some of them, they're not throwing rocks to "protect" women from another culture.

They're doing it to "protect" what they consider to be their property.

And some are likely to be a bunch of racist pricks with very little between the ears capable of rational thought.

So throwing rocks at people with a different skin colour is great fun for them. Using violence to get what they want is normal and they apply it to everyone else in their life as well.

Or a combination of the two.

It’s great to see Hampshire police doing such good work.

This proves that most violent people are…. Violent. At least in this small case study of 20 people.

Nice straw man argument. What about patriots who aren't wasteing their time because there aren't anywhere near enough folk kicking off?

The original post is a big meaningless. To understand the point one would need to know how many were actually charged and subsequently convicted of offences. However I do not think that the original poster has any interest in an objective analysis of the facts.

Would you use the same logic to ask why so many people who follow a religion of peace seem to ram cars into crowds? Are those statistics even available (83% according to 2025 counterterrorism research at West Point)?

Statistics cut all ways, not just in the direction of your ire.

What 83% percent of a certain religion are ramming cars into crowds. Must be a very small religion.

My apologies, when you wrote so many of a certain religion, I thought the percentage referred to the religion.

It's comforting to know that you are really sorry, and that you truly believed that it was a very small religion.

To be fair, it would make sense to prioritise implied intent of the statistic from the immediately preceding sentence than from the post to which it is responding.

"What utter made up BS…"

That's a funny of saying, 'that's actually completely accurate'.

Of course if didn't mean that, you'd have to come up with an alternative explanation as to why there's such a massive overlap between thick-as-shit violent protestors and domestic abusers.
