GB News reporting the ‘New IRA’ is planning a violent campaign aimed at driving migrants out of Ireland, intelligence officials have warned.

Security bosses fear the republican group, which succeeded the Real IRA, has been exploiting "tensions" on both sides of the Irish border.

They say a video appeared on social media in which an unidentified man issued threats against migrants on behalf of the IRA.

"They will take control, and they will give an ultimatum, not to politicians but to the illegal migrants who are in the country,".

Is this GB News gaslighting ?

I would say not , Given the security forces are warning of an upturn in the New IRA's activity and the recent attempt to smuggle a significantly sized car bomb across the border into the North .

Depressing news all-round ..

It’s of no surprise to me. The governments are not doing anything about the problem and it’s only going to get worse.

It's probably better for citizens to wait for warnings from the official authorities, rather than giving terrorists the attention that they crave, often as a key priority.

Not idol threats then or Palestine action spray painting a raf jet.

The authoritative CAIN Sutton Index records 3,532 conflict related deaths between July 1969 and December 2001.

The British army certainly is in now shape to deal with the old IRA of the past. Though it depends how big this new IRA.

Sounds like a quiet afternoon in Gaza.
