Three banksy artworks cost the taxpayer £150,000

Bbc reporting artworks by street artist Banksy have cost taxpayers almost £150,000 in cleaning operations and security so far, with the bill expected to rise.
The largest single cost relates to a mural painted on the Royal Courts of Justice in September 2025, where removal efforts and security have so far cost more than £85,000.
The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) says it has spent £50,000 trying to remove paint from the wall of the Grade II listed building in Carey Street. A further £35,300 was spent on overtime and security costs.

I should imagine there is a Crown Facilities Estate Management Department.
I expect they have a PSL of vetted and trusted companies who perform restorative work in keeping with the heritage of the building. I should imagine that expertise and skill does not come cheap. |

plenty people know who he is.used to be in massive attack he is part of that Bristol collective Portishead tricky and that mob and you honestly belive hmrc don't know who he is lol |

"How the hell do you get to paint on the sides of the law courts surly they have cameras covering all areas if not says a lot about it’s security "

That’s my taxes in the next 20 years gone just paying this bet he starts moaning about there being no money for the causes which he may do this for wake up you’ve just took £150.000 quid away from them brain dead dosnt even come in to it |
