Just had a sneaky look at the recent polls. Then I thought, whose opinions are they?

57 years old and no polling organisation has ever asked me. Who are they asking? Have you been asked?

A few years ago , after voting at a local polling station, a woman stopped me to ask who I voted for.

Was a good few years ago. Not sure how they'll do it via postal votes

A long time ago I got a phone call from a polling company who asked me lots of questions. Just that once.

For political polls they tend to focus on areas where the vote was close last time. If you live in an area which always votes the same way, you won't get questioned.

OP - sounds like you'd benefit from learning a bit about polling. The only place where full surveillance of the electorate is undertaken, will be somewhere like North Korea but not because they value statistics. Talking of which, you could study statistical methods and power.
