So I never post on the subject because I think it's just so toxic, but something shocked me earlier. And I'm pro immigration.
A friend, not in this country message me and said what the hell is happening in your country. I said, what do you mean? He sent me a link to a video?
So these British people are protesting banners asylum seeker is welcome here. This guy very politely approaches them and ask them what are they protesting for? They immediately start abusing him swearing saying we know what you are racist reform et cetera like literally a barrage and the women who all look like Olive from on the buses look like they're gonna start hitting him they are so aggressive.
Now he tries to just ask them politely why do they want asylum seekers here but he gets no answer just abuse.
Then one of the protesters actually seems more reasonable he says to him. The situation is horrific and nobody wants people coming over on small boats but how desperate must you be to send your pregnant wife over on a boat and take those risks? Can you imagine what kind of situation they've come from?,
And he says Fairpoint, then he says from the safety of France or Germany, how desperate. If you had Made made it to the relative safety of Europe, would you risk putting your own pregnant wife on a boat across the channel? And you know what happened next he refused to answer the question. Just started abusing the guy calling him a racist.
These lefties, not normal socialists which are mostly decent people these olive from on the buses lefties , can't debate, all they can do is attack and abuse anyone who disagrees with them. It seems they are destroying the UK.
Also arriving into the UK yesterday at immigration there is a priority lane for people with ID cards and settled status, but if you have a British passport, you have to join a massive queue.
Why is everyone from Olive from on the buses through to the people that run our immigration department trying to fuck the British people?

"It makes sad reading particularly after seeing the massive small boat arriving yesterday.
I think we are at breaking point one way or another. "
What motivates these pro immigration protests ? Why do they want France's asylum seekers to come to England? And why are they so angry and abusive to anyone who doesn't |

I'm very wary of this kind of thing because you don't just come across a video like that randomly from a completely neutral source.
Also the framing of the question is a little off. Are they France's asylum seekers? Does anyone actively want someone claiming asylum in France to come to the UK to claim asylum instead?
As for abusive, I don't know, haven't seen the video. |

What is your opinion on people leaving France to enter the UK by irregular means? Do you approve or not approve, your response wasn't that clear to me. |

There was a march few months ago and one of the refugees pushed a leftie .the lefties said Wer on your side to which the refugee said no your not.all these lefties who protect them are the problem you can't talk to them.they either ignore you or they attack you.i feel sorry for anyone fleeing a war but these boat people are not fleeing a war it's a invasion but our government and the stupid lefties can not see this. |

I don't 'approve' it, nor have I met or heard anyone else that approves it tbh. |

Are you in favour of Frances asylum seekers coming into the UK on small boats? It sounds like you are. |

So if you don't approve it, then you are against it right? If you are against it then according to these lefties, you are a racist reform voter. Is that accurate?
If you haven't seen it or know anybody approves it or notice what's happening in the UK and you must be blind |

Nope, it's not accurate. I absolutely think we should be taking in asylum seekers, and should be doing more to create safer routes etc so that people don't need to risk their lives to get here.
That's what I mean about it sounding a bit fishy. I have never heard anyone want people to get on boats, hide in lorries etc in order to get here.
I can understand a protest where the message is that asylum seekers are welcome and it's a message id largely agree with. |

No disrespect, but you sound like the middle class socialists, Blair Starmer, all in favour of opening the doors to immigrants even illegal ones, very pro multiculturalism, but probably live in a nice area and think going for a curry ism. a posh area of Islington or your kids celebrating Diwali at a nice state school where you can afford to own a house in the catchment area, is multiculturalism.
Go live in a ghetto or many towns and cities were English speaking is the minority and the crime rates and sexual violence against women or astronomical, we can't walk out once it's dark, then you will understand what multiculturalism really is

I'm sure he'd take a nice middle class One that's been privately educated in the UK before going back to Sudan. Not sure he'd want a 30-year-old rapist and gangster pretending to be age 15 alone in the house with his kids. |

People did this with refugees from the war in Ukraine and the Jewish children escaping from Germany in WW2.
This is often asked as if not wanting strangers living with you or your family means you're not fully commited to accepting refugees. I wouldn't invite anybody to live with me wherever they were from but it doesn't mean I don't want to see them safe from harm . |

Unfortunately Britain has always had a problem with "Johnny Foreigner " and it sadly will likely be the same for some time. It is far easier to attack someone different than try to understand and empathise with them. Social media, poor education and grifting politicians out for their own ends only makes things worse. |

Immigration is fine when controlled. UK immigration is not reasonable. Actual skilled work? Visiting to study, or holiday, or for business? All good, excellent even.
Sadly the UK didn't control or integrate people and now we have enclaves of backwards thinking people who want to make their own little versions of their home countries. (Being born somewhere doesn't make you from there, hubby doesn't speak a word of German).
A simple analogy;
A cat is fine to keep as a pet. Maybe two or three. But eventually you will hit that point where it is far too costly and damaging to your own way of life to take in any more cats. |

Vested interest brainwashing.
There are many protests (not just pro immigration) where you'll find an awful lot of government employees at them.
The very institutions of our country are rotten and don't employ the brightest and best. |
