Most eavernings cost guard watch the middle of the channel so as soon as there in UK water, they are picked up. So, in truth, they only need to do about 11 miles. |

Our consistent thoughts on this never ending saga that seems to dominate every conversation and media news clip
1. The people to blame are the traffickers
2. The majority are people leaving s**t lives and we would likely do the same
3. There are no easy solutions politicians who say there are are full of s**t
4. More wars and more climate challenges will see more migration

Why do these simple sounding ideas fail in the real world. Sound bites are great for stirring the pot but nobody seems to think through the mechanisms for achieving these grandeous schemes or their possible consequences. If there is a solution to the problem it will take a multinational involvement that will take many years to achieve. Making pointless threats involving the military that will never be implemented regardless of who is in power only demonstrates a lack of understanding as to how the real world operates. |
