Greed is not an issue of whether one is right, left or neutral. People will if they're that way inclined take the piss and whilst his actions are thus far odious the system needs overhaul which allows such things..

Alas not so much power corrupts more like money tends to magnify the faults in a person's personality. Regardless of ones beliefs. I wonder,if you were to take one hundred people, give them the same amounts of cash what percentage would turn out the better for it.

Actually the problem is he is not a criminal. When you take money from the till of your employer you are a thief, when you take £500 million from the pension fund your employees you are a captain of industry and business!

Welcome to the world of unregulated business! (It's very profitable you know! )

I am more cynical than most!

"I wouold do more to him than any Corbynites would make them look softies, but I do believe in capatilism but done in the right way"

I am a committed socialist! But I am loyal to the Crown, because I think our parliamentary democracy with a constitutional hereditary head of state is the best (although not perfect) system there is. I am extremely proud of my country, and believe in strong defences and I believe in the Nuclear deterrent, but I also believe we would be better served in a Federal Europe (not going to happen now).

I also believe in a mixed economy and that those industries, services and utilities that are of vital national interest should be held in trust by the state for the nation.

I also believe that when greedy capitalists are caught asset stripping or defrauding this country, if they are British they should be charged with capital treason and when convicted should be executed and all their property forfeited to the state.

Although I do not agree with all of what JC is preaching I think he is the most ethical and moral we have on offer at present.

Alas somebody has hit the spot... It's not the system that's fucked, it's the people within the system, one we understand that we can build a system that takes out the worst of human nature

You'd have thought someone would have told him to keep his head down and not go sailing a million pound yacht round the Med as 11,000 people get goonered

Very true nice quote ... "

He's done this with another company he owned about 20 years ago,I & many hundreds of us worked for him & he left us all high & dry in millions of pounds in debt & no wages whist another company bailed us all out & he went off swanning off on one of his many yachts, makes me sick he's still aloud to do his & get away with it.

No the system is fucked. Capitalism works beautifully when you have proper owners risking their own money. What we have is a bunch of faceless hedge funds, wealth funds and pension funds who are the most short-term people you could imagine. Most companies are managed with little thought beyond the next 3 months.

Greed is an irrelevance, another meaningless term for people that don't understand how stock markets actually work.

There was nobody more greedy than scargill, who sold his members down the road for his personal vanity

But Philip green should definitely be facing criminal charges for the way he has profiteer. At others expense
