The dollar will fluctuate a bit until the US starts trading under a new president and the markets settle down.
A few peapple will make a mint on the stock market and quite a few will lose but nothing really different than before.
Markets will always rise and fall no matter what is happening.

Guess what, if it's the Russians who start a nuclear war Trump's got nothing to do with it, and if Trump wanted to start a nuclear was on the back of a temper tantrum HE CAN'T. Because there's such a thing as a TWO MAN RULE in the US nuclear command hierarchy.

for every £600 to pay into your pension fund AVC's the government gives you £400 back in tax making it £1000
so if you pay £1200 a month extra into your pension pot, the total amount is £2000
that's a bloody good investment in itself and better returns than a wee nest of gold, especially if you have a final salary pension.

Excellent post . Just rember that shares are a long term investment and no one can predict the future or time the markets . Shares are the one investment which provided you spread the risk will never let you down.
Another bonus is that AIM listed shares are exempt from inheritance tax . |

With every Indian civil servant and entrepreneurial type rushing to convert their high-value notes without laying a trail for the taxman to follow, chances are you would be buying gold at the top of the market.
Although, if Trump's election is causing consternation in China, perhaps the price of gold will soar.
Think I'll phone those chaps James, Sean and Simon in the Bombay boiler rooms and tell them that they should invest in Scottish gold before the market price goes through the roof. |
