Ask yourself, whatever you want, are we ready and prepared to leave? Regardless of whether you want no deal, single market access, undo the vote, whatever - are we in a position where our civic and public institutions are logistically ready to leave, with the physical infrastructure to support it. All I'll say is in the NHS we are still waiting for public health England to explain how in the event of no deal, how can the NHS afford to buy in the chemicals and hardware for chemotherapy and other cancer treatments on our current budget allocation? I think most people will sigh like students do, when lecturers give an extension cause the left actually doing the work till last minute. | |||

Corbyn does not have the numbers to deliver Brexit. Only May does. Ask yourself why she is unable deliver. Why has she waited 2.5 years to make this a cross-party issue? The Conservatives claimed ownership throughout. But May cannot even lead her own party, never mind the country. As failures of governance go, this one is up there with Suez. The parallels are similar. British politicians discovering the hard way their perception of the country's status in the world is completely detached from reality. This is not a negotiation of equals. It never has been. Yet May & Co have persisted with the lies of the referendum. Now the chickens are coming home to roost. Time for some honesty, however painful that may be for the flag-waving Little Englanders. | |||
