Flexible Brexit date

Is this the start of Brexit never actually happening, a bit like Turkey being promised membership of the EU if it met certain conditions, which 30 odd years it has never managed.

With a no deal Brexit being lawfully taken off the table and only 1 deal in place that nobody wants, will the date just keep rolling over.

Aside from no deal Brexit being off the table, we're in the same situation we were in the day after the referendum.

Maybe just revoking A50 might give May a legacy she could be proud of

Even I would be proud of her, as long as there was no intention to ever implement another Article 50.

The default I think, subject to all new laws having been created and implemented, in the UK. as well as joint readiness agreed with the EU, would be for the UK to leave on the expiry date of Article 50 that's agreed with the EU.

The UK still has work to do, as it's not ready. An article 50 extension: probably more than a couple of weeks, wouldn't likely be followed by successive extensions, ad nauseum. The EU has voiced its displeasure at extension requests, where nothing is substantially different in the UK and there needs to be a clear purpose.
