I can't claim to know enough about the situation in Venezuela to know how legitimate the claim is from either Maduro or Guaido, but when you've got Russia backing one and Trump the other it seems like Chile all over again |

Cold war tactics on both sides and a possible proxy war. Hope it can be settled by Venezuelans and not by America or anyone else but the usa has a track record of toppling governments, regardless of legitimate ones or not |

This coup has nothing to do with the Venezuelan people or freedom politics or any other shit like that (the USA supports Saudi). It is about access to exploit oil and Venezuela refusing to prop up the US economy by trading oil in US$ (petrodollars) and instead using the Euro as its international trading currency. |

"If thats true we need the USA to get rid of Mrs May and our Mps
I'll toast that one
Yea, let's take back control and let the US run the UK.
The irony is staggering!
"
The government are poodles to the American regime. Will is right, the Americans dont give a shit about human rights or the freedom of Venezuelans |

"In simple terms oil is the big factor but the leader is a left wing despot who has destroyed his country"
Big question is does the usa have the right to interfere in the affairs of other countries? Even threatening military intervention. |

Is it right? On the moral high ground that the people are starvind etc yes.It is a complex question but better they interfere there than Russia or China |
