She met him yesterday to discuss climate change. I like it how the younger ones are involved in such debates and it is refreshing to see them on the world stage, rather than the usual ones, whats your view and how did the meeting go? |

My view is this........
She's NOT THE ONLY PERSON INVOLVED IN FIGHTING CLIMATE CHANGE.
She didn't START the concerns or the efforts.. fucking hell .....
Talk about being in the right place at the right time and having the right publicity.
It's the fucking Spice Girls all over again.....

I found the meeting went ok and I talked to her for quite a while about football. Was surprised to find out she loves whale meat sandwiches though  |

Just a publicity stunt a meeting with no point to it at all as prince Charly has no influence a total non story

We're all elite here in the UK, compared to the millions who just about cling to life, with nothing. I'll add Greta to the elite, in comparison too.
She has caused some major refocussing on to the human caused global heating catastrophe, due to influences upon millions globally. That's a point for celebration that in a couple of years that her invested efforts created such a positive shift.
She is not a specialist climatologist, as she's a young girl. Her climatplogy expertise and knowledge is thus well below that of specialist scientists. You refer to her talking bollocks, without specifying in any way which material you mean. The accepted evidence is that humans have caused global heating and that the level of heating to date is catastrophic for life on earth. Further, our current behaviour is continuing to make this catastrophe worse.
Few will not take steps to get themselves out of potential danger, whether crossing the road or if they know of medical needs that would cause death, without getting attention. It's natural instinct.
2 individuals, who have influence, met and acknowledged shared purpose.
As a species we can continue to make things much worse for all, through not ensuring that we impose limits to the levels of damage that we are causing. Significant levels of heating have already happened. We could though. minimise the amount of additional heating that we cause, which seems rather better than taking the action that is against human instinct for self-preservation and empathy for others. |
