Morning All,

I’ve been having a conversation with a few & wanted a broader opinion.

What would you have on your traditional 9 item (2 meat) Sunday roast.

Looking forward to seeing your answers.

"roasters "

Only having roasters? They are lovely but surely would need a few more items?

I'm not sure I would limit myself to 9...

Turkey and beef

Yorkshire pudding- filled with stuffing

Pigs in blankets

Roast potatoes

Mash potato

Carrot

Green beens

Caluflower and brocoli cheese

Red cabbage with cranberry on the turkey

Mustard gravy on the beef.

Mold

Roasting my own pork today

Keeping it fairly simple with Roast pots, sliced greens, and carrots and a home made gravy.

Why complicate things?

Sunday roast is a very English tradition. Surely Chinese or Indian is more popular in Scotland

As a child things were tight sometimes but sunday dinner was homemade soup, either chicken, pot roast brisket, occasionally a silverside joint with creamy mash, roasties and seasonal buttered veg... happy days
