Had a very sexy evening at Club Noir 'The Games' in Edinburgh last night, with a hot couple from here & will definately be at the next one. Were any other fellow fabites there? We're suprised there aren't any other posts about this.

We are regulars at the Glasgow events but sadly they seem to have dried up recently.

Always a good chilled and horny night, hopefully they get another Glasgow night soon.

Glad you guys had a great time.

Glasgow

Not been in a while and missed the Festival one because of a family illness.

Tend to prefer Violate or Torture Garden - or Erotica or Night of the Senses in London - when it comes to that kind of thing as they are a bit more raunchy.

Yep, we were there as usual. Really disappointed with Edinburgh actually. Too many jeans and trainers, not enough dressing up! Glasgow seems to be a better crowd. Looking forward to October

Central Scotland

I was there for the first time with a male friend from the site and apart from a couple of the female performers who were excellent and the two 'ballet' guys we were quite disappointed with the whole thing.

Totally agree about not enough dressing up and the venue was a bit of a dump too!

RHL if you've never been to Glasgow's Noir you should go. Fantastic night and always a spectacle.

We were v disappointed too. Too many festival punters including stag dos not taking part but just boozing and letching. Vibe was not like other Edinburgh nights.

We've been to a couple of the Glasgow nights and not really impressed.

Poor acts and even poorer music (kylie and duran duran have no place at a so called burlesque club).

Lots of students in primark corsets with just the occasional great costume thrown into the mix.

Doubt very much we'd go back.

Torture Garden out does it by a country mile.

Two very different nights though are they not. TG is very much more a Fetish spectacle as opposed to being billed as a "Burlesque" night? Violate / DV8 would be a major eye opener for your normal Noir clientèle I should imagine......do Primark do latex??

No, but they do corsets which seem to be the main order of the day for costumes. We wore latex to the halloween do and got a few very odd looks.

TG is indeed a fetish night but majority of the acts they put on would go down a treat at Noir as they are mostly top end burlesque acts. Noir now bills itself as the biggest burlesque club in the world, which is laughable.

Still sticking to our guns about the music, it's completely crap but I suppose they're catering to the crowd instead of keeping in theme. A friend used to perform at it but now won't because of what it's become.

Violate, DV8 etc. aren't that scary. lol

People get misconceptions and misinformation about what they're really like.

There was a rather nice HoH rubber offering on show on sat but otherwise all very tame.

I know TG et al aren't scary however I have the distinct feeling that most on sat would have run a mile!

Ah, Mrs K has a few HoH bits in her collection.

No doubt about the majority running a mile. lol

I think noir has had a nice non threatening, horny under current compared to 'standard' club nights out.

I think places such as TG are on a completely different level and cater for a subset of those that would go to Noir.

Some of my friends think we are pervs for going to noir. They are right that we are pervs but not for that reason.

Noir has been going downhill for a while. It used to be much classier - everybody had good costumes with a really sexy atmosphere but it seems to be dumbing down.

The venues are too big and too many people are in fancy dress.

Don't think we will be going back.

Our last was Halloween and I agree it was just like a fancy dress night rather than the previous nights we had been to which had a very differant vibe.

Very unlikely to be going to the Halloween one.

Just make sure she doesn't get it from Primark! Mr knotty is a bit snobby about Primark Corsets.

I've only been to CIS once. But a friend described it as trying to be 10 things at once. The pity is it can fail at times.

Young, alternative/student crowd.

Eclectic music, 70 rock to dance.

Some bursulesque type stage shows.

A small area for kink (ropes, impact play)

live music upstairs.

Personally, I didn't rate it. If I want Burlesque, I'll find a show, if I want to dance I'll hit a rock club, and if I want to enjoy kinky play, I'll find somewhere with a no camera policy.

But it was pretty busy the night I went, so some people obviously enjoy it.

Regards

Sp

Best Burlesque night was "An evening of Burlesque" at the pavilion theatre . Amazing lingerie. Did anyone else go?
