From someone who's meet turned up 'tipsy' I'd have been not to happy either.why didn't you just cancel or say sorry got other places to be and not drink?

If someone couldn't meet me sober I'd be pissed off. Different if you've gone out for drinks together.
Having said that, I wouldn't then post about them on my status update.

I think the issue is that if someone is inebriated then consent isn’t clear. Are they participating because they are d*unk? For of yours and our safety I would have got you a taxi home and left it at that.
