Well come on you all know what it is like, a good friday afternoon and sitting in the garden playing with the kids and rover the dog ,running around thinking he is still a puppy.
When i decided to open a packet of salted peanuts..mmmm lovely.....well that's it rover was sitting at my feet looking at every handful i ate.....so i started to throw him some......
......all of a sudden he let out a loud yelp......sorry it was worse than that...YELP.....so i had a look and one of the peanuts had got lodged into his right ear.
I tried rubbing his ear, gently shaking his head, probing with a cotton bud etc,etc.
So off to the vet we go (bloody bank holiday rates) and told him what had happened....so the vet pushed and pulled and probed but all to no good.
The vet then left the surgery and came back a couple of minutes later with a pan of melted chocolate...well i just could not believe my eyes as he gently poured the liquid chocolate into his ear...
He left if for a moment and then...
gently tapped rover's head....
and you know what........
it came out a TREAT.....  |
