I think if you're not the age there looking for, then that's there choice, not sure its ageist tho.I do sympathize,50 , seems quite a popular cut off point with folks ,and i find that frustrating At times, but its not ageist IMO .   |

I am only interested in meeting peeps of around the same age and have set the age limits accordingly. Maybe not strictly ageist although could be construed as such by some. Can't see anyone loosing any sleep over me not being interested in people between 18-99 years old! LOL |

Being as I am now north of 50… there is definitely a feeling of being ‘fab’ shelved on here which is mildly depressing at times…. I console myself with thinking ah well I’ve had a good run at this… maybe it’s time embrace those a slippers after-all lol  |

I personally have my mail setting as only the age I’m looking for, simply from experience and I don’t get as much abuse or stupid messages and we are all on here for exactly what we want after all. I found 18-34 and 45+ are the ones to send dick pics straight away but only my experience so I stopped it with the filters, life is nicer on here now |

This goes along the same lines as a video i seen recently about an american women stating you where being discriminating toward obese women if you didnt find her attractive and that you HAD TO find her attractive….
Its all personal preference…
I like mum tums, big butts, big boobs and blondes that my choice you will he different as will everyone else….

Don’t thinks folks are “ ageist” as such it’s just preferences . Some don’t wanna play with folks young enough to be their kids which i morally agree with , some don’t wanna shag their mums auntie . It’s their/your personal choice at the end of the day |

It’s a random question for someone whose age preferences go from 47 years younger to just 3 years older than you…
Are you concerned your preferences make you look ageist?
Just because they say many a good tune etc doesn’t mean you should feel you have to up your age preferences… |

Agree with most. Not ageist, just a preference. It is a bit a annoying at times but so it life. Most people that meet me in real life soon forget the age range or other hang ups they may have/perceive as important. But this is a website and you need to control the flow I guess. |

15 or more years ago I had a comfortable number of meets, all over the country. Now? Nothing. Nil. Zero.
So.......I haven't changed, other than that I'm now 15 or more years older.

So you're not ageist when you fancy meeting people 50 years younger, but won't meet people older than you? Oh wait, they can be 3 years older than you, that's ok then

People are termed “ist” quite easily I find these days, I prefer preference. Especially here, they don’t have to be set in stone but one does need some kind of parameters  |
