Myself and AllWomanButNoLady are organising a drinks night for Sat 1st Oct in central Dundee.
It is £5 per head deposit, returned as a drink on the evening. I will send you the PayPal details if interested, payment to be made by 10th Sep.

Think at any social there may be single men as they are always the most keen and for numbers, perhaps more couples and women would like to go?
Its a tricky one, when I had my social I had mostly couples, and only a few single men, not thinking about those who enjoy meeting single men |

Not at all. There are 12-15 single men who have posted on this thread who have not replied to my message, and I also have people who don't use the forums who have confirmed their attendance, so if you're making that assumption based on this thread alone then it will be inaccurate.
There are 11 couples and 6 single ladies confirmed at the moment, if single guys are not what you're looking for, and we're still 12 days away from the social so I'm expecting more.
I understand your concerns and if I feel its necessary to cap numbers then I will. I've not had any issues with any previous socials I've hosted so I'm not concerned for the moment.

I'd like to thank and congratulate the organizers of the meet last night.
My first and so fairly nervous being solo with all the couple's.
Although only there for a short time I did manage to meet and talk to a few interesting and friendly folk and enjoyed it very much, I hope we can chat again sometime.

Not sure if it is of interest to anyone but having read the descriptions of others I've been able to get a rough idea of who was whom.
I was the guy at the bar in the white shirt and brown chinos that arrived and left in the Bikers jacket.
If you talked to me i'd love to do so again if you're game. If not then it was nice to meet you regardless. |
