Hello fabbers
I need a question that's burned and I've mage comment in forums about it but not got a big answer, perhaps I won't.
I had a work accident 16 month ago a machine ungaurded took the finger of my hand the surgeon manage to put 1 back on but I'm left physically disabled with it as in right hand doesn't have a lot of use, this put me backwards meeting ppl still does, I've been upfront about it some have been a case of don't care but what's wider thoughts on this, I've struggled to meet after this before I found myself confident and good looking now I feel a bit old n worn  |

I think it's bothering you prpbably more than anyone else and that's perfectly understandable. Did you get any kind of counselling after your accident, if not, perhaps it might help you process and come to terms with what is a pretty traumatic thing to happen to anyone. |

Were you getting private replies ? Because you seem to have gotten incredibly irate without anyone even responding 
Lots of us on fab have things going on in our lives and things happening to us that can knock our confidence however it’s only you that can do anything about that tbh
I had breast cancer and had to have surgery I had the most amazing huge and perfectly even boobs I fuxking loved them, so much so I was forever treating them to new bras, now I have smaller (still big) ones at first they were pretty good nice and perky !! Porn star titties my daughter called them, as they softened and started healing, the scars are looking better even getting used to uneven nipples(don’t think surgeon on the left got the memo to make the areola smaller before she reattached them ! But now because of infection the one that had the cancer is misshapen and hard in places from scar tissue, I look on the mirror and don’t really recognise myself from the person I was two years ago but you know what I’m still bloody well here !! I do get days I feel sorry for myself and get upset but I don’t take it out on other people I don’t get angry about it I just brush myself down and get on with life, as anyone from Cjs who knows me will testify sometimes I am super confident and parade around in my
Underwear without a care in the world other times I’m all covered up
Sexually I’ve lost the feeling in my nipples (bonus is I got them pierced cause I don’t do pain) and I loved having them played with, and I do feel
A bit anxious when I first get naked because he in the bra they look amazing both filling each cup equally but when that comes off one boob sits naturally now the other one sits higher up making them look completely different sizes
Being a woman and with all the images all over the internet tv etc about how women should look we are always under pressure, and then when guys send messages like what you going to wear if we meet etc ! We’re expected to be looking sexy and on display all the time and boy does that really piss me off but hey move on, delete, block if they persist, next !!
I’d say the fact you’ve had surgery and had your finger sewn back on you’ve been luckier than some, recovery takes time and no two people recover at the same pace, mentally you have to start trying to love the new you or at least accept the change, try not to assume what other people are thinking about you, think less about what you can’t do and more about what you can do

The tone of your original post OP sounds like you have still to come to terms with your changes. Only you can figure that one out....
