CJ's or After dark?

I was just wondering what people's thoughts are of their favourite venue?

I'm sure a lot of people will go to the closest one but for those that have been to both they might have a preference.

Personally I haven't been to either so would like to see people's thoughts.

Thanks.

Neither of them are close to me but I choose CJs over Afterdark, due to the atmosphere and the facilities. I found Afterdark to be very basic and too bright, the playrooms are small and awkwardly laid out. I also found it difficult to mingle as there was one large group dominating the social area so not easy to break into that.

Will definitely give Afterdark another go at some point, I just feel that CJs is more what I expect a swinging club to be. Other people will have different opinions, obviously.

Hey we definitely prefer afterdark to cjs although cjs is closer for us! Different strokes for different folks hey!

We quite like the open social area in Afterdark over the smaller closed off rooms in cjs and feel afterdark is a bit fresher ,more rooms to play in and the pool table is a nice touch .

Cjs is more comfy but iv found it abit hard to socialise there at times .

We like both clubs and both have plus points and down sides ultimately it’s what you make of it I’d say

Thanks for your answers, certainly different opinions about both venues.

I intend on going to both, but will need to pick one for 15th April. FFA at CJ's or 90's disco at AfterDark.

90s disco could be fun

There is a social before the 90s disco on the 15th and if it’s anything like the last night it will be fantastic!!

I read that in another forum but I don't think I could manage social and disco

You be surprised it’s good opportunity to make lots of new fab friends and mingle, I’m hoping to come through on the 15th too providing finances are willing, and I don’t dance as much as I used to because of my health and I’d end up totally floored

My problem is I would need to get back for my dog. If I go to social then I would need to leave the disco really early.

No point in asking on here as it depends on a lot of factors.

The type of crowd on the night, the theme, if its a busy or quiet night, bla bla

Best thing to do is try and get along to both and see how it goes.

Thanks, I fully intend on going to both. I was just interested to hear the opinions of others.

I like them both but prefer cjs, but that's purely for the friends I know and find it easier to mingle
