So, I’ve just been confronted by an ex (years ago) who’s given me some amount of stick for being on fab.!! Someone local on here took screenshots of my profile and pics (now private) and sent her them.!!!
Anyone else been in similar situation I live in a small town so it’s the small town people mentality.. |

Thats a horrible thing to do, I dont get why anyone would do that. It's none of their buisness what you get up to in your own time. You aren't hurting anyone or breaking the law. Some folk are just arses

Same happened to me, not with an ex but a guy on here took screenshots of my friends only pics n shared them into a group chat, just happened to be someone in that group chat knew me and messaged me about it. Seemingly he had a habit of showing workmates etc people's profiles on here. Its the risk you take. Discretion rarely exists on here in my experience , yet gets shouted about left right n centre. |

It is the risk you take, but look let’s be honest society today is more accepting of guys being on here than women. So with that I think you need to chill out a wee bitty buddy, unless you’re not single and then….you’re fucked. |

Sending pics without the person's permission is revenge porn and is illegal in the UK. No grey area whatsoever. Your ex confronting you about it is bullying/harassment and if they continue is abuse/assault. Again illegal. If in doubt call 101, they will confirm it.
When something similar happened to Miss we did not respond to the abuser's messages. We contacted 101 and made a report, including emailing screenshots of the messages. We were told by a reliable mutual acquaintance said abuser had a visit from the police at their workplace and their phone was taken. We don't how far things went after that but we know they lost their job a week later.
Don't let people get away with it. Even if nothing comes of it the police can tell them about the razor they are walking. |

I would never involve the police not my style and I don’t know who showed my pics etc, it’s done just an embarrassing situation and made to feel like it was something wrong.! |

Are you sure someone sent her the screen shots? Maybe she is on here and stumbled across your profile herself? Was your face pic on show for someone to recognise you? If not how would they have known it was you?
I would tell her your keeping any text exchange you have had regarding ' screen shotting' your profile and sharing cause I'm sure it's illegal to do so especially if the reason for doing so is to humiliate you or as previously stated bully you.... |
