Is their any folks who know of a spot that’s secluded for a bunch of fabbers to get together under a camp fire n raise the heat some what

Plus how many would actually be up for a night under the canvas frolicking

I do love getting away for a night or two with the tent, usually down by Loch Doon or up on Tayside.

Sounds like a good time. Just bought tent box and small van to start getting into going places and adventures. This would be something I'd be up for if ever came around. Few places around here but long way from most people

I remember one being organised a year or so ago.

I think it was in the Peebles area.

This week I've been to Oban, Fort William and now I'm at Loch Tay.

First time using my Box Tent, could be interested if free

I'm serious if it falls on my weekend off and if I don't already have other plans..

I can't message you so I'm registering my interest here

If it's only couples your looking for, I hope you all have a nice time once organised

Been going hillwalking and camping for years. I've been thinking about this but in all honestly, its growing and anywhere i think of, now more people head to the same areas so unsure of

a totally quiet place for this sort of camping

I was part of a team who organised one a few years ago on one of the islands on Loch Lomond

I was going to take a select group out on my cruiser to the beach/ island and the great thing about it was it’s only accessible by boat but unfortunately it was spoiled by certain individuals who tried to take over the organisation and invite the hole world

It’s still a great plan just needs someone to take the lead as I’m too busy to organise it

Sounds great in theory, I don't think you'd have much problem finding a field with a view,my concern would be arranging this on an official campsite with power hookups, that might prove harder given its the tourist season now, finding a good area with maybe a wee lochan would be perfect
