Okay, so we're going to try to narrow our search down, and start arranging to meet. Our ideal scenario is a couple who also have kids, so we can let the kids all play together while we socialise. Or a couple who don't have kids, but don't mind that we do. We don't have a lot of support, in terms of babysitters, so we're biting the bullet and looking for couples who can be part of our vanilla lives as much as our swinging lives.
We just don't want couple after couple coming in for meets and the kids wondering who the heck is who. If we have a few couples who all meet and socialise regularly, then it's faces the kids would recognise and trust, and we don't have to worry about explaining who they are.
I know this isn't for everyone and I fully appreciate there will be people who absolutely keep the two separate but we really don't have that option, if we want to be having fun. If it isn't for you, please don't worry about telling me this. I'm aware it's not for everyone and that's okay, you can just scroll past.
But, after another failed attempt at a night out together last night, we've decided it's time to make the move and find a few couples to meet in this way.

Aw you're so right, we're definitely not exactly local to each other. But yeah, it's exhausting, trying to have some sort of life outwith kids, so we decided to try to just make things a bit easier xx |
