Getting back into it so we thought we would go easy and arrange a social/chat up date for Wednesday night. Got lots of replies, lot of guys read social as a quickie in the disabled toilet, picked a ‘mature’ guy sent time and place. We had chosen a pub and said we would be there till 7pm, everything was tickety boo!

We get to the pub at 5.45, let hm know we are there, no reply. Have a pint, blethering to other customers and checking messages. At 6.35 we get a message that he can’t make it as he hasn’t had his tea!

We got stood up because the guy hadn’t had his tea and couldn’t wait an hour.

It’s original, I’ll give him that!

It's a good one but think the excuse my Mrs got once was best I heard. Don't remember exact details but basically he cancelled on the advice of a tarrot card reader. 🤣🤣

Clearly no intention of turning up.

He would have known well before then that he didn't have time for his tea, and meet.

Lots of fantasists on here, love the chat but no intentions of following through.

Least you got a message

I got messaged guy on pof, arranged to meet his town killie cos he needed to be close incase his wean needed him, i was 50 mins into an hour journey he messages saying his child got taken to hospital, i sat hope everything okand continue to killie centre

Put a status on fab lookin for social at pub i was at, imagine my surprise when a message pops up saying there free with a facepic n its only the guy who just canceled! I screanshotted the fab n sent it to him, then got all the i thought ud be fake, thought ud stand me up ect lol

Ended up a great night in killie maself tho lol guys are so notorious for flakin why i prefer socials at cjs if they dont turn up theres plenty to chat to

Aye, there's too many fantasists. I've had my time wasted on more than a couple of occasions.

A couple of novel excuses given here, though for sure.

Stay sexy and have a good time.

It’s not just male profiles that cancel and let you down. Sadly, I’ve travelled and been on the receiving end of a ghosting recently.

I get if someone gets cold feet from nerves but to have someone waste their time is out of order.

It puts you off bothering for a while but we can’t tarnish everyone with the same brush.
