Easiest way to spot a fake

I suppose the first thing that comes to mind for me is seeing a profile that is hours old with photos of beautiful women that obviously look like they’ve been take from someone’s Instagram. Fully clothed selfies and the likes.
I also think there is a certain tone in status updates, profile descriptions etc where you can just tell it’s a fake(by that I pretty much mean a man pretending to be a woman). I don’t think it’s ever that convincing. Real women generally put a lot of care and effort into their profiles on here.

How long have you got?
No veri fems or couple accounts that have been set up over a year ago.
Brand new account demanding face pics.
Brand new account with vanilla profile pics (pinched off Facebook)
Brand new accounts claiming to be fems trying to arrange a bi meet for their Bf.
The list is endless.... |

The longer you are on the site the easier they are to spot
Either no veris or verified by 1 single guy by cam
The repeat ones usually ask the same questions like “anyone went to school in East Kilbride”
They ask to take the conversation away from fab meaning they are going to ask something that breaks fans rules |

Public face pics but no photo verification. Stating that don't meet single man but have one or more verification from a single man and they are hidden! With Chrome long press on the pic and use "search pic with Google lens". Then old verification probably not a couple anymore. Asking for face pics just after couple of messages. Actually the list is endless. Better way would be just have a video call to sort all the doubts out. You can't be wrong with that.x |

As soon as we get the fake vibe we don't respond. Its a shame though because its a certain we have ignored genuine people. Our privacy is very important to us so we just don't take chances. Any single female who contacts we think is fake because the amount of messages we get we can only imagine how many single ladies get. I doubt the need to message anyone ha |

It’s strange behaviour. Sometimes they have more than one fake profile on the go at one time. |

"Fake" what? A fake profile? I've never come across one, ever.
A genuine profile with fake tendancies? Why on earth would anyone spend time and effort looking for such things? I focus on the 'fit' and not the counterfeit. |

Verified after less than an hour on the site when they don’t have any info, profile pictures, or pictures uploaded along with a site supporter badge. There’s a notorious one who pops up under new singles & couples accounts at least 1/2 a month asking for guys to try & recognise her. The reason I know it’s fake is because the pictures are of an old friend of mines mum.. I caught the guy behind it like two years ago but he seems pretty shameless. Signs up Gold site supporter Fake verification EK guys come see if you recognise me delete repeat |

I seem to see the same usernames and poor quality photos for this day & age... Seen the EK one quite a lot.
Seen a few with same pictures and different usernames. Deffo fakes. Although it seems whatever algorithm his site has does catch quite a few of them as I sometimes initiate chat then about an hour later they're deleted from the site lol |

EK one at top of my Updates this morning. 2 day account with usual chat. I've reported and suggest others do too. No doubt it will appear again. It's verging on psychotic.
And potentially illegal if those are nicked pics. |

Usually a combination of...
1. Lack of originality: Exact same text on the profile that you've seen before  Only thing that changes is the location of the country they're in
2. The veris given (if any) are all from hidden profiles
3. They usually demand face or cock pics once a chat commences
4. Pics look like a screenshot from a porno |

Or someone who is dumb enough to look at your profile and upload your pics to theirs….on the same day! Happened to us yesterday! Was scrolling through and could see the thumbnail and I thought erm that one looks familiar
Definitely a red flag in our book |

Many fakes I seen it all over the years with different profiles as I get fed up leave and rejoin.
Demanding face pics straight away is a red flag for me with no chat.
Dodgy verifications from iffy profiles.
Absolutely no pics either publi or private.
Commenting on topics in forum then becoming UNLOS.
The use of fake pics.
The location not matching the miles on search.
Quite a few more for me as been here few times

I don't know but I've been accused 3 or 4 times of being a fake but I'm photo verified. I was sent abuse, told I was fake, reported & blocked! I'd originally set up as just a woman because it's only me looking but it's been changed to couple, I've no pics of my partner on though but have sent them when requested, anyway, ramble over! My profile apparently looks fake is the point! Lol. Xx |

Some are very easy to spot, grainy pics, pics from strange perspective, cropped badly etc. bog standard profile context, not photo veri usually a big red flag. There is one in fife that keeps reappearing, wifefife69 or version there of, every couple of weeks, clearly it’s a guy either using pics of his mrs or some randoms off the internet, he’s now taken to blocking me everytime lol |
